Operation Gratitude seeks to lift spirits and meet the evolving needs of the U.S. Military and First Responder communities, and provide volunteer opportunities for Americans to express their appreciation to all who serve our nation. Every Operation Gratitude Care Package includes a bundle of letters from the American people, thanking Troops, Veterans, New Recruits, or First Responders for their service to our country. Since 1899, The Anti-Cruelty Society has remained committed to their mission of building a community of caring by helping pets and educating people. All pets need behavioral enrichment items to keep them busy, happy, and stimulated while they live within a shelter environment. For this reason, they have created a number of Do-It-Yourself crafting tutorials to give animal lovers a way to pitch in and help out. Their collection of craft tutorials will show you how to bring the comforts of home to the animals in their care. All the items can be made from recycled materials, so they’re not only good for the animals, but good for the environment too!
