What is the Hour of Code?
The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with 1-hour coding activities but expanding to all sorts of community efforts.
Celebrate Hour of Code! Stop by the library and learn all about this annual event celebrating computer science! Throughout the week AP Computer Science students will be available in the library 3rd and 4th periods to demonstrate coding and help you develop your coding skills. Girls are invited to join Girls Who Code on Friday 12/13 in the library at 7:30am to learn more about computer science.
